HINDRAF TRANSFORMED TO MALAYSIAN INDIAN VOICE

Formation of Malaysian Indian Voice was celebrated on 25th November 2009 at Dewan Hamzah, Klang in front of 5000 Hindraf hardcore supporters. The celebration was attended by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (Keadilan Leader), YB Prof Ramasamy (Penang Deputy Chief Minister), and many other Klang Valley YBs. The organizing Committee and the Hindraf backbone members met on Tuesday 17 November 2009 in New Hindraf office at Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam unanimously have agreed to five resolutions. In the event, Hindraf Leaders V. Ganapathirao and K. Vasantha Kumar voiced out all the five resolutions:

1. An organizing Committee for the formation of Hindraf is preparing documents to register the movement. The Organizing Committee consist of ten (10) coordinators and heading by Mr. V. Raidu.

2. The committee intends to submit to Registrar of Societies (ROS) application for registering Hindraf as a Non Government Organization (NGO), thus this will lead to appointment of new leaders to take the helm of the NGO.

3. In any event, the ROS rejects the application, the committee has an alternate plan by submitting another name Malaysian Indian Voice ( mi malaysia) . Both the above applications will be lodeged to ROS together to save time, as time is essential to the movement.

4. The movement intends to clarify that there is no conncetion or relationship between Malaysia Makkal Sakthi Party (MMS) and Human Rights Party (HRP). Hindraf remain non-political movements.

5. The movement unanimously has agreed to sack Mr. Wyathamoorthy, self proclaim Chairman of Hindraf with immediate effect (17th November 2009).
